Who's Behind This

Meet the Team

Every technical claim on this site is backed by people who hold the actual credentials. Not marketing copy about "certified installers," but named board leadership and licensing you can verify.

Updated July 11, 2026

Short answer Ecologic is led by Keith Bowie, Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (CUFCA), the national body that sets installation standards for the entire Canadian spray foam industry, and built by Stephane Ouellette, site foreman and lead sprayer since 2009. Both are nationally certified installers, and Ecologic itself is a CUFCA Licensed Contractor in good standing.

Why these specific credentials matter

CUFCA (the Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association) is the industry's own national quality-assurance body. Its Site Quality Assurance Program (SQAP) is what licenses a company, not just an individual installer, to apply spray-applied rigid polyurethane foam to the CAN/ULC S705.2 product installation standard, tied to a Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) evaluation. Ecologic holds this license (Membership #410-0459) and agrees, as a condition of it, to install to ISO 9001 quality standards.

Having the Chairman of CUFCA's own Board and its Technical Committee on Spray Foam running day-to-day operations isn't a marketing credential. It means the same person setting national installation standards for the industry is personally accountable for how foam gets applied on your job.

CUFCA certifications are renewed annually. Keith's and Stephane's 2025–26 certification cards are in process with CUFCA at time of writing; this page will be updated with the new card numbers and dates once issued.

Frequently asked questions

What does CUFCA Chairman of the Board mean?

CUFCA (the Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association) is the national body that sets installation standards and runs the quality-assurance program for spray polyurethane foam contractors across Canada. Its Chairman of the Board is elected by the industry's own certified contractors to lead the association. It is a peer-elected industry leadership role, not a credential a company can claim on its own behalf.

Is Ecologic a licensed spray foam contractor?

Yes. Ecologic holds CUFCA Membership #410-0459 as a Registered Licensed Contractor in good standing, meeting the CAN/ULC S705.2 installation standard and the CUFCA Site Quality Assurance Program requirements.
